2009 EDITORIAL PLAN
The International Brangus Breeders Association (IBBA) and Brangus Publications, Inc, (BPI) is extremely pleased to announce that we will be publishing six issues of the Brangus Journal and four commercial editions of a new publication, the FRONTLINE Beef Producer in 2009. The objective is to provide our members and advertisers a broader range of marketing opportunities.
The Brangus Journal will continue to be the main source of communications to IBBA members and subscribers with circulation of roughly 2000 to 5500 depending on our content focus and production schedule. The FRONTLINE Beef Producer will have a circulation of 20,000 made up of 2000 members 5500 known bull buyers and 12,500 qualified commercial producers, primarily from the southern United States. Both the Brangus Journal and the Frontline Beef Producer will serve as true news and discussion source of relevant information on a timely basis.
In combination with these two promotional pieces the IBBA will also continually update our websites www.brangusjournal.com, www.GoBrangus.com and www.int-brangus.org with current advertising and editorial content, so that advertisers not only receive the benefits of print advertising, but also have the ability to reach potential customers with an advanced online presence.
Also new this year is a realigned publishing schedule for both the Brangus Journal and the FRONTLINE Beef Producer. The IBBA will be producing six issues of the Brangus Journal every other month starting with the January/February issue mailing February 1, which will serve as the Spring Sire Summary Issue. The inaugural issue of the FRONTLINE Beef Producer will be mailed on January 15; with three more issues being published in March, September, and November. Media kits for both publications with information on production schedules, deadlines, ad sizes, and pricing are available from the Brangus Publications Editorial office.
